Coupler expériences et simulations en dynamique des fluides: revue des approches, problèmes et perspectives

Résumé

Recently, the fluid mechanics community has been making increasing contributions to the field of dynamical flow reconstruction by coupling EFD with CFD. In my presentation I try to highlight significant achievements in thisarea with emphasis on data assimilation techniques. I discuss mathematical and physical modeling that have been used and are necessary when one intends to estimate the state of a dynamical flow based on plenty of or limited information.
