VODKA-PLS : a family of PLS models based on the NIPALS algorithm

VODKA PLS : une famille de modèles dérivés de l'algorithme NIPALS

Résumé

Several algorithms were proposed for the calculation of PLS1 regression, using weight and loading vectors. This paper presents an alternative to the NIPALS algorithm. As a consequence, expert knowledge represented by a vector can be introduced within the calculation, and thus a family of PLS algorithms is obtained.
