In this paper we applied a method to characterize the variability of agro-environmental functions fulfilment in a small agricultural landscape in relation to the local policy objectives. The diversity of farming systems and geo-physical environment generated an important variability of the function fulfilment in relation to land use, land tenure and farming systems. Such factors should be taken into account to estimate the spatial variability of AEF fulfilment. Different AEF fulfilment were not random located in the landscape, therefore we can conclude that there are some spatial characteristics able to inform on AEF fulfilment at the landscape level.
